What is The Residence Collection?
The Residence Collection are luxury British made windows, designed to replicate traditional timber windows. They are a high-end, luxury alternative to standard uPVC windows and they designed the original uPVC flush sash window; Residence 9, back in 2011.
HWL Trade Frames manufacture the Residence Collection using The Timberweld technique. Timberweld is the patented method of jointing that makes strong, perfectly welded corners with no gaps.
This gives a butt-joint effect outside and inside.
HWL Windows Group were the first approved manufacturer of The Residence Collection windows using the Timberweld technique.
Imagine, textured grained windows and doors, with butt jointed construction looking just like wooden mortised and tenoned joints.
The Residence Collection delivers stunning looks, plus the performance to go with it. In other words, this is a timber-look window that lasts, but in a way that is cost-effective in the long term.
Residence 9
Residence 9 is a clever blend of old and new. The traditionally, elegant flush exterior paired with a stylish, decorative interior helps create that classic aesthetic. Made with a maintenance free material.

Residence 9 outperforms many other systems with sophisticated design, innovation and technological advancements. It can accommodate 28mm and 44mm glazing to create highly efficient glazed units, which offer outstanding thermal and acoustic performance.
Achieving a WER of A+ and U-Values as low as 0.8, R9 is available in 23 standard colour options, including Painswick, Grained White, & Cotswold Green.
Residence 9 can be supplied unglazed enabling you to fit it and glaze it like any other system.
Supplying R9 frames unglazed, means without the requirement to glass bond, this can provide you with so many savings and efficiencies.

Residence 7
Residence 7 windows were developed and designed to replicate both aluminium and traditional timber windows.
So whilst other frames typically offer three or five chambers, Residence 7 offers seven chambers at 75mm wide.
Always finished to perfection, plus 20 standard colourways and dual colour options. These windows achieve impressive A++ Energy ratings too.

Residence² , squared and bold, suited to the contemporary home.
Beautifully flush externally, with a defining square interior. This collection is available in a range of maintenance free finishes and a variety of styles.
