Behind every successful organisation, there’s a woman that helps hold it all together and goes beyond their designated roles to create a smooth-flowing process, despite the bumps in the road all businesses face. Today, we want to shine the spotlight on one such exceptional professional at the HWL – Sam the Accounts Manager. Her focus and leadership skills are a force to be reckoned with. Sam has an astute understanding of numbers and an innate ability to analyze data. She navigates the intricacies of our financial landscape with finesse. Her skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management have provided our company with a solid foundation for growth and stability.

Origin Story

Before Sam found HWL she worked as an accountant with a machinery company! This fine lady had been an accountant for 20 years before working with us at HWL. Speaking of which, how did you come to work at HWL? (We asked Sam). She replied; “My husband knew the boss, so it’s his fault”. And Nearly 6 years later she’s still holding the fort for us here at HWL.

What is your favorite thing about working at HWL? Sam replied; “The people” and the variety of work she gets to do “I like being the dog’s buddy” said Sam. Well, we’d be lost without you, that’s for sure. Not only does Sam deal with accounting, she also deals with the logistics too!  If there’s a problem with an order, chances are Sam is the (wo-)man who’s got you covered.

When Sam was asked about what she considered to be her greatest achievement she replied “Coping with Mark for this long” (Her husbands friend/her boss!). But in all seriousness Sam’s proud of the high level of organization she’s gotten HWL up to, she’s truly the queen of workload juggling.

What Makes a Sam, Sam?

When Sam isn’t at work, she’s probably  day-dreaming of her next holiday, having a laugh with her friends and family, or, most likely with a drink in her hand somewhere.

Sam, your impact on our window manufacturing company cannot be overstated. Your hard work, expertise, and unwavering dedication have played a crucial role in our success. Lets raise our glasses to Sam!
